Meet Ally Russell (she/her)

Colorado Licensed Massage Therapist MT0025719

Registered Thai Therapist with Thai Alliance

Originally from the foothills of Northern California, Ally fell in love with Salida while hiking the Continental Divide Trail and has been offering massage & bodywork here in the valley since 2023. Ally graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts up in the PNW and is a lifelong student of bodywork. She aims to create a grounded and peaceful space for the body and mind to unwind, and welcomes each session as an opportunity to create a customized therapeutic bodywork session based on the unique goals of each client.

Sessions are a blend of different modalities including Thai massage, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, TuiNa, Trauma-informed, Abdominal, and Sports massage and can range in pressure from gentle to more intense, while always prioritizing slowness and space for the nervous system to settle and be relaxed. Integrative Massages are available, as well as specific Abdominal Massage and Thai Table Massage.

Ally’s other passions include long distance backpacking, practicing yin yoga, sharing the lessons of fertility and menstrual cycle awareness, gardening, creating colorful plant-based meals, and hiking to catch the alpenglow with her 14-year-old cattle dog rescue.

Sessions with Ally are offered on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and occasional Thursdays!

- All bodies are welcome - LGBTQIA+ friendly.

- Ally will happily wear an N95 mask during a session if requested.

“Through my thru-hiking journeys and bodywork practice, I have developed a deep reverence for our bodies and am passionate about empowering people to experience and enjoy moments of peace and grounding in their bodies. I would be honored to work with you.”
