Craniosacral Therapy:
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method for evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the craniosacral system. This system is comprised of the membranes & cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.
Craniosacral Therapy uses a soft, light touch or 'holds' to release restrictions in our system. These 'releases' have been shown to improve digestion, respiration, circulation and help with musculoskeletal issues.
Craniosacral therapy can facilitate the body’s natural and innate healing processes and therefore can bolster the body's resistance to disease. It is a very relaxing modality and aids in decreasing the sympathetic nervous system "fight or flight" and can be used to treat insomnia, stress, anxiety and PTSD.
